The Baltimore Nighthawks join the WFA for 2017 Season

The Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) is proud to announce that one of the most well-established franchises in women’s football, the Baltimore Nighthawks, will join the WFA for the 2017 season.

The Baltimore Nighthawks was formed in 2007 for the purpose of teaching women in
the greater Baltimore area the sport of Football.  I believe it is important to give
women an opportunity to live their gridiron dreams. The goal of our program is to
provide a safe and productive environment that enables women to learn and apply the
principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication and sportsmanship.
Our plans are to bring this sport to a broader market while continuing to represent
Baltimore proudly both on and off the ?eld.  We look forward to our 10th season, and
the opportunity to bring women's tackle football to the forefront of women's sports.
